Grape variety : SYRAH.
Granite ground covered with decaying gneiss and schistes.
Vineyard from 20 to 30 years old.
 
Average yields : 35 hl/ha.
Harvest by hand.
Grapes are destemmed.
 
Wine-making process : 21 day-fermentation with a daily « pigeage » (to insert the grape pond in the juice).
 
Grown in barrels : 20% new and the rest in casks of 2 and 3 wines.
 
Tasting : Black currant, black cherry, pepper and liquorice aroma. Fine and strong tannins.
 
Optimum preservation : from 4 to 10 years
