Saint-Claude terroir is Sud-Est facing at 250m above sea level, the subsoil is mainly clay-limestone with big stones.
The second plot, known as « Côte rôtie » is South facing with a steep slope. This terroir is clay-limestone with shallow subsoil.

Harvests : Manual
Vinification / Maturing : Pneumatic pressing of full grapes. The vinification is conducted in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats in order to keep all the freshness and finess of Chardonnay. The main goal is to preserve the fruitiness and the freshness of the wine. The wines stay on lies during 8 mouths before blending of both terroirs and bottling in May.
Tasting :
Nose : intense and floral.
On the palate : very fruity with freshness and lemon hints.
Food and wine pairing : Aperitif, white meat meals, but also Asian and Indian food, Tajine, cheese.
